What We Do Best

EazySafe develop eLearning courses following cognitive learning theory. It is based on the premise that people learn best when they can control the learning experience themselves. The cognitive approach to learning focuses on how an individual thinks and absorbs information, using a design approach that enhances the learning experience.

This cognitive approach is endorsed by a large proportion of academics who find it useful in teaching problem-solving tactics where defined facts and rules are applied in unfamiliar situations.

The concept of structuring information promotes more meaningful learning and consequently facilitates the application of learned information to real-world situations. The phenomenon of chunking has been generally accepted for all levels of cognitive processing.

In delivering courses using information chunks we hope to encourage participants to construct meaning in a self-motivated and self-directed fashion.

EazySafe also provide a number of content formats, which allow for differences in the characteristics of adult learners (such as reasoning, vocabulary, life phase/age and cognitive dissonance).

Assessment is carried out in the form of multiple choice questions that reflect the indicate course learning outcomes have been achieved. Normally the client selects the required mastery level, however we currently recommend a 70% pass rate.

By facilitating interaction during an e-learning course this improves the learning experience of the individual by enabling them to consider and reflect upon the information just studied.
