This course is specifically designed for those who require a basis in First Aid. It is designed to assist participants in the treatment of minor accident/incident injuries and life saving skills. This is not a substitute for the in depth, practical and theoretical examination of the role/responsibilities of the first aider.

Aim of Course

The aim of this course is to give participants the basic skills and information necessary to handle a situation where first aid is required.

At the end of this course participants will be able to:
• Explain the steps to take if you come across an accident where first aid is required.
• Know what to do with the casualty involved.
• Have knowledge of situations involving heart attack, wounds, burns, epileptics, diabetics and asthmatics.
